The team at a Nissan dealership in Omagh, County Tyrone are delighted to have supplied a local Strabane visitor with six brand-new, all-electric Nissan LEAFs.
The environmentally-friendly Acenta trim-level vehicles are stuff delivered by Pat Kirk Ltd to 21 Training, an organisation that helps school leavers, job seekers, employees and employers develop their skills with nationally recognised qualifications and employability support.
Serving communities from five locations wideness the West of Northern Ireland, 21 Training aims to help people from all backgrounds to develop their careers and unzip their ambitions.
Those directly involved in the deal at Pat Kirk Ltd were Managing Director Peter McDermott, Sales Manager Andrew Crawford and Merchantry Manager Dean Harbison.
Mr McDermott said: “We are delighted to have secured this deal with 21 Training, a fantastic local merchantry which helps many young and unemployed people in our area.
‘‘It has been a pleasure working with Kieran Kennedy, Mia Coyle, and all the team at 21 Training. We hope this will be the start of a long and fruitful partnership.’’
As well as the vehicles, 21 Training ordered twin wall box chargers. The LEAFs were given their smart new livery by Signal Signs of Omagh and will be delivered to 21 Training’s workshop in Strabane.

One of the programmes 21 Training is involved in is Apprenticeship NI. Tutors from the visitor will be using the vehicles when visiting employers and their employees wideness Northern Ireland wideness a wide range of sectors such as hair and beauty, manufacturing, food, hospitality, retail and warehousing.

Worldwide phenomenon
The Nissan LEAF has wilt a worldwide miracle since its launch in 2010. More than 600,000 examples of the car have now been sold globally and it continues to win awards.
Most recently, LEAF was recently named ‘Best Used Small Electric Car’ by Driving Electric.
