With only a month until the Nissan Ariya undertakes the world’s first all-electric driving venture from the magnetic North Pole to the South Pole, the team in tuition have explained why the car is the perfect choice.
Nissan, in partnership with British wanderer Chris Ramsey and the daring Pole to Pole trek team, will travel over 27,000 kilometres wideness several regions and continents with predicted temperatures ranging from -30⁰C to 30⁰C in a modified Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE.
Mountain climbs
Commencing March 2023, the trek will see Chris and his wife, Julie Ramsey, wilt the first people to momentum from pole to pole in a vehicle of any type, as they make their way from the Arctic, through North, Central and South America, surpassing crossing to Antarctica.
The route will negotiate some of the world’s most extreme, brutal, yet trappy scenery. From snow-covered glacial landscapes to treacherous mountain climbs and vast desert dunes, the trip will take followers through breath-taking and uncharted territory.
The Ramseys’ Pole to Pole trek is aligned with Nissan’s Ambition 2030 and company’s transferral to sustainability.
As part of its long-term vision to empower mobility and beyond, Nissan aims to unhook heady vehicles and technologies that empower consumer journeys and society.
In preparation for the freezing Arctic and Antarctic conditions, Ramsey’s trek Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE will be modified with a custom rugged exterior fit for the trek wideness lattermost terrain with upgraded wheels, tyres and suspension.
e-4ORCE is Nissan’s most wide all-wheel tenancy technology that virtuously manages power output and braking performance for smoothness and stability.
The system enhances suburbanite conviction by tracing the intended driving line over a variety of road surfaces, including wet and snowy roads, without the need for changes in driving style or input.
As a true reminder of the sheer unpredictability and magnitude of the task ahead, the word-for-word set-off stage for the Ramsey’s will be unswayable on the day.
